We started song4u.us because we believe everyone deserves a song that tells their story — not just the people who can afford a studio.
Our roots are in ASP Records, founded in 1999. For years, writing someone a personal song meant a session musician, a booking, and a four-figure invoice. Most people never got one. That always felt backwards to us: the most personal gift in the world was the least accessible.
So we rebuilt the process. You write down what makes someone special, and about two minutes later there's a song with their name in it — for the price of a takeaway lunch.
